CLEVELAND HORSESHOE CASINO TO OPEN IN HIGBEE'S BUILDING IN 2012

Rock Ohio Caesars announced that the downtown Higbees Building will be converted for the Cleveland Caesar's Horseshoe Casino in 2012. The Higbee Building constructed in 1931 is located on Public Square and was featured in the Santa scene in "A
Christmas Story". Officials estimate that the makeover of the the first four floors for the casino will cost will cost $350 million and create over 1500 casino jobs. Upon completion the casino is projected to attract over 5 million annual visitors.

om, two bars and a 400-seat buffet-style restaurant. Cleveland Horseshoe Casino will be operated by Rock Ohio Caesars LLC. Rock Ohio Caesars is a joint venture of Rock Gaming, LLC and Caesars Entertainment Corporation, Las Vegas. Caesars Entertainment Corporation is largest casino company in the country operating over 50 casino properties and was formerly known as Harrah's Entertainment.

The transformation of the Higbee building into the Cleveland Horseshoe Casino is Phase One of the Cleveland casino development. Rock Ohio Caesars have acquired 16 acres adjacent to the Higbee Building at a cost of $85 million. Future plans include casino parking and a permanent $600 million casino expected to open in 2014.

Rock Gaming LLC, and Caesars Entertainment. Corporation have formed a joint venture to develop and operate casinos in downtown Cleveland and downtown Cincinnati. Rock Ohio Caesars LLC, is majority owned by Rock Gaming. Rock Ohio Caesars has entered into long term management agreements with subsidiaries of Caesars for management and operation of each of the venture’s facilities.
